Koi are non-native species  which disrupt the natural food chain in local bodies of water.  If you catch this non-native fish, please contact  Friends of Winter Pond 781-729-3472  And, you can also contact  Koi Club, Tim Czech 413-967-9510 or Harry Dorsey 401-246-0682 to find an appropriate placement for the live koi.
