Friends of Winter Pond is an association of interested citizens dedicated to preserving a local treasure, Winter Pond.  Currently there are over 125 members supporting the Pond Association.  FWP have been working with the Town of Winchester for 18 years to preserve and improve Winter Pond.

Winter Pond is designated as a Great Pond of Massachusetts with a total area of about 17 acres.  It is divided into two sections, known as Big and Little Winter Pond, by Woodside Road.  The Ponds are a year-round resource for all of Winchester's residents, most commonly used for fishing, boating and ice skating.
